There we also tell you that Silvestica will soon have a new chairman for the board, Hannele Arvonen, who has long and solid experience from the forestry industry. Hannele herself describes her commitment and background as below:
- Passionate about the forestry industry and sustainable business development (economic, social and ecological)
- Has worked in the forest industry for over 30 years in different countries and different companies in the total value chain, has held senior positions within Metsä Board and Holmen as well as CEO of Setra Group and Sveaskog.
- Various board assignments
- Member of the Royal IVA, KSLA and the Finnish Academy
- Education- Forester (MSc Forest Products Marketing) from the University of Helsinki, BA International Relations from Beloit, USA and eMBA from Stockholm University
